Atria Office
HR + IT + service teams

Make employee readiness a shared responsibility.

A new starter needs working access, equipment and practical arrangements. A role change or departure needs an equally clear plan. Atria connects the employee transition record with accountable work, so each participating team can see its next action and HR can follow the overall readiness outcome.

Define the transition and the target date

HR records the joiner, mover or leaver transition and its native readiness checklist. Name the intended outcome and deadline, then activate the transition before assigning work to participating IT or service teams. Draft transitions retain their restricted visibility. Keep sensitive personal context in an appropriately restricted HR case rather than adding it to coordination notes that the participating teams can read.

Apply a repeatable readiness path

The employee readiness template creates tasks for HR requirements, IT readiness, workplace readiness and final HR confirmation. Assign active colleagues who already have access to the record. Relative due dates and dependencies show what must happen before the next step can begin. The native transition checklist remains required independently of the shared task list. Company templates can adapt the sequence for your own onboarding or departure process.

Handle the work that crosses departments

Use the relevant access and equipment modules to record software requests and asset custody. A purchasing need has its own review and receipt workflow. These are distinct records with their own permissions and actions; applying a transition template does not automatically create or fulfill every related request. The pilot agrees which records operators create, which evidence they link and which supported provider operations are useful.

Make blockers and ownership explicit

A missing start date, unanswered question or unavailable device should remain visible. The current owner can record a blocker, ask for clarification or propose a handoff. The receiving owner accepts responsibility before ownership changes. Required task evidence and dependencies prevent a checklist from appearing complete while prerequisite work is unresolved. My Work shows assigned tasks and cases for the signed in person.

Confirm readiness with evidence

IT and service teams record what they actually delivered. HR completes the native confirmation only after its required checklist and applicable case gates are satisfied. An approval alone is not proof that an account exists or equipment is ready. For a departure, record the removal or return evidence that the process needs rather than assuming a changed directory profile revoked company login.

Evaluate a bounded cohort

Choose a small set of actual transitions and define readiness before the first run. Compare follow ups, active effort, elapsed time, rework and on time completion against the old process. Validate access restrictions and an incomplete or failed case as well as the successful path. Payroll, authoritative HR decisions, device management and external account provisioning remain in their specialist systems unless a specific supported operation is agreed and verified.
