Hand over the work. Keep responsibility clear.
A project can be delayed before delivery begins because its inputs are incomplete or no receiving owner has accepted it. Atria coordinates that operational handoff with a project record, reusable steps and an explicit transfer of accountability. It is designed for the work between teams, alongside specialist project and commercial systems.

Record the intended delivery outcome
Create an operational project with the relevant client or project identifiers, native checklist and target date. Its work case records the desired outcome, current owner and next action. Link permitted source records to give the receiving team useful context. A link does not copy a document or grant permission: a person sees only source records they can already access.
Use a repeatable handoff template
The built in client and project handoff template coordinates required inputs, accepted delivery ownership and kickoff readiness. Assign qualified active colleagues to the template roles. Tasks can have relative deadlines, dependencies, required evidence and decision gates. Authorized managers can create company templates to reflect their process. Updating a template does not silently change tasks already created for an earlier project.
Transfer accountability through acceptance
A proposed handoff names the receiving owner and includes a note. Responsibility remains with the existing owner until the recipient accepts. The recipient can reject the proposal, and the existing owner can resolve what is missing. Assignment never grants broader record access. This is useful when a sales, operations or support team needs a clear acknowledgment from the team expected to deliver.
Resolve missing inputs before moving on
Ask a clarification when an input is ambiguous. The requester replies and the responsible person records its resolution. An unanswered or unreviewed clarification stays visible. Dependencies keep a task from starting or finishing before its prerequisites are complete. Blockers and required task evidence help the team distinguish a ready handoff from a checklist filled in without the necessary work.
Finish the native work as well as the checklist
A completed shared task list can make a case ready for its next step; it does not itself complete the project. The project retains its native checklist and valid completion action. Operational history keeps ownership changes, decisions and completion evidence. Recurring project checklists can create ordinary owned cases on supported schedules while preserving occurrence history; scheduled creation is not proof that work was done.
Choose a focused coordination pilot
Begin with one handoff between two teams. Check missing inputs, recipient rejection, delayed acceptance, permission loss and verified completion. Measure follow ups, elapsed waiting and active effort separately. Atria can record and coordinate supported CRM or project operations after account validation, but it does not claim a full CRM, professional services accounting suite, Gantt planning, sprint management or portfolio resource planning. Retain the tools your delivery model requires.
