Canadian teams / Manufacturing, hardware and engineering

Connect office work.
Give it an owner.

For Canadian manufacturing, hardware and engineering businesses that need clearer coordination between employees, facilities, IT and office operations. Track the request, the receiving owner and the evidence of completion.

Where Atria fits

Connect the people.
Follow the work.

A facilities issue, a joining engineer and an equipment purchase can involve different teams but the same coordination problems: missing context, unclear ownership and an approval mistaken for completed work. Atria supports these administrative and workplace workflows. It can sit alongside the ERP, CMMS and engineering systems that retain control of production, parts, specialist maintenance and product data.

01

Resolve a facilities issue

Capture the location and resource, assign an operator, preserve waiting and active states, and verify restoration before the resource becomes usable again.

02

Coordinate an employee transition

Give HR, IT and workplace operators explicit tasks for access and equipment, with deadlines, dependencies and evidence.

03

Run recurring operational checklists

Generate owned facilities requests, service tickets or project checklists for predictable administrative work. Keep occurrence history and verify the work each time.

A workflow you can evaluate

Fictional pilot scenario: a meeting or training room has an AV fault before an engineering review. A workplace operator marks the room unavailable and affected bookers are alerted. Facilities accepts the repair, records the outcome and verifies restoration. If the team also needs new equipment, a separate purchase workflow records approval, an external order reference and receipt evidence.

A focused starting point

Give shared work an owner.
Let the verified outcome decide.

Relevant native modules

Start with the scope
your team needs.

Keep specialist systems authoritative.

Atria is not an ERP, MES, industrial control, production scheduling or engineering change platform. Its asset register is not MDM or a full CMDB, and its facilities workflow does not provide industrial maintenance costing, parts inventory, sensor diagnosis or a safety assurance system.

Prepare a reviewable pilot

Bring the process.
Bring its owners.

Use a sanitized example and the actual system inventory. Agree scope, price, deployment and acceptance before live setup.

Use the preparation guide
  1. One administrative facilities or employee service workflow at a defined site.
  2. A named operational owner and a clear boundary around production and safety systems.
  3. Required resource rules, equipment records and any supported external operations.
  4. Cases for waiting, failure, recurring work, reopening and verified restoration.
Practical questions

A fit review
for your business.

Does Atria run manufacturing production?

No. It coordinates internal employee, workplace and administrative operations. ERP, MES, industrial control, engineering and safety systems keep their defined authority.

What facilities functions can we evaluate?

Owned requests, triage, progress, comments, escalation, resolution, reopening and resource availability actions. Recurring schedules can create ordinary owned work cases.

Can we track equipment issued to an employee?

Yes. Atria records equipment custody, assignment, returns, repair and retirement. It does not automatically discover devices or perform remote management.

Can recurring checklists complete themselves?

No. A schedule creates the intended work case. Operators still perform the tasks and provide the evidence required to complete them.

Can we integrate our ERP or CMMS?

First verify the exact required operation. Atria has a defined provider catalog, not a universal connector. Unsupported operations need an explicit gap decision and separate scope.

What should the first manufacturing pilot prove?

Choose a contained administrative process and demonstrate authority, accepted ownership, exception handling and actual completion. Keep production and safety decisions in their authoritative systems.
